The COVID Communications team is a student-led team interested in combating scientific misinformation by discussing the science of the Sars-CoV-2 virus and the COVID19 vaccines to a general audience. The team collaborated with different local organizations to host townhall style events in order to answer questions about the virus and address concerns about the COVID19 vaccines. Over the course of their run, the team was able to host 8 online events in both English and Spanish and reach over 300 participants.
